The Yellowwood White 2021 x 3
Honouring the indigenous yellowwood tree standing tall in the heart of Spier’s Werf (farmyard), this blend of 54% Chenin Blanc and 46% Viognier is deliciously crisp with flavours of citrus and subtle spice. We love it with spicy noodles or Thai-style curries.
The Yellowwood Rosé 2021 x 3
This offers a heady mix of berries, rosewater and vanilla flavours. Enjoy with sushi or soft cheese and crackers.
The Yellowwood Red 2015 x 3
This bold blend of 82% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon is laden with flavours of pomegranate, cassis, cherry and spices. These are supported by fine tannins bolstered by 16 months of barrel maturation. Enjoy with mushroom risotto or a potjie.
Farm House Rosé 2019 x 1
A silky, full bodied rosé with a fresh finish. Strawberry and fresh raspberry aromas are supported by hints of vanilla, apricots and candy floss precede a strawberry palate dominated with notes of freshly crushed black pepper. Serve with smoked salmon or a cheeseboard with mild flavours.
Sip on juicy blackberry and chocolate flavours, supported by a vibrant palate of vanilla, blackcurrant and plum, leading to a smooth finish. Enjoy with platter of biltong, mild cheeses and peppadews stuffed with feta.
This regal red blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon was crowned with a Gold Medal at the 2020 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Named after the giant, ancient granite boulders dotting the banks of the Eerste River that flows through our farm, its rich and complex flavours include cherry, cassis, fennel and allspice. Having spent 24 months maturing in French oak, it will reward time on your wine rack. After 3 to 5 years, bring it out for a special dinner of grass-fed ribeye and truffled mash.
